Composition | Environmental Pollution
The pollution of our surroundings is a major topic of discussion in the world today. Scientists who study the climate and people who care about the Earth are very worried about it. They say that if we don't stop the pollution, the world will soon become impossible to live in.
When we talk about the environment, we mean the natural world where people, animals, and plants exist. Pollution, on the other hand, is when something becomes dirty or harmful. The environment includes things like air, water, soil, and sound. So, when these things become dirty or harmful to people, animals, and plants, it is called environmental pollution. In a broader sense, environmental pollution means a big change in the chemical, physical, and biological aspects of the environment.
There are many ways our environment gets polluted. Smoke pollutes the air, and waste and dirt pollute the water. Another type of pollution is sound pollution, which happens when vehicle horns and microphones make the sound dirty. Smells can also become polluted by untreated human waste. But the most serious form of pollution is the greenhouse effect, which is caused by cutting down trees without thinking.
Environmental pollution has a terrible impact. If our environment is polluted, we can't live a comfortable life. Pollution leads to deadly diseases and causes the deaths of millions of people worldwide. It also changes the world's climate and brings different kinds of natural disasters. In short, pollution disrupts the balance and harmony of the environment.
To stop environmental pollution, the first thing we should do is to stop cutting down trees recklessly. We also need to plant more and more trees. We should take action against the careless use of chemicals and the improper disposal of waste and dirt. Most importantly, we need to raise awareness among the public through mass campaigns in the media.
Everything in the environment is connected. If one part gets polluted, it affects all the other parts. So, it is our responsibility to protect the environment from being ruined. By keeping our environment free from pollution, we can ensure a healthier and happier life for future generations.
