Seasons of Bangladesh Composition

Bangladesh has different types of weather throughout the year. There are six main seasons in Bangladesh: summer, rainy season, autumn, late autumn, winter, and spring. Each season has its own special characteristics.

Summer is the first season. It happens during the months of Baishakh and Jaistha. During summer, it gets really hot. The sun shines very brightly, and sometimes it's so hot that it's tiring to do things outside. The water in ponds and canals dries up, which makes it hard for people to find enough drinking water. During this time, diseases like cholera and typhoid can spread easily. Ripe mangoes can be seen hanging from the trees, which is a nice sight.

The rainy season takes place during the months of Ashar and Sraban. The sky is usually covered with clouds, and there is heavy rain. People can't go outside without an umbrella, and the roads become slippery. Fishermen catch a lot of fish during this time, and villagers go to the market to buy a fish called Hilsha.

Autumn happens in the months of Bhadra and Aswin. The sky looks blue during this season, and sometimes there are clouds floating around. However, it doesn't rain much. This is the time when jute is prepared to be sold. Hindus celebrate their Durga Puja festival during this season.

Late autumn occurs in Kartik and Agrahayana. There is a lot of dew during this season, and it looks like pearls on the grass. Rice plants are ready to be harvested, and the weather is not too hot or too cold. It's a comfortable time of the year.

Winter, which comes in Poush and Magh, is quite cold. Cold winds blow from the Himalayas, and the trees lose their leaves. People feel very cold, and the sky is clear. Poor people have a tough time with the cold, but there are plenty of fresh vegetables available everywhere. In the villages, people can also enjoy date juice.

Finally, spring arrives in the months of Falgoon and Chaitra. Spring is considered the king of all seasons because it's really beautiful. The days are warm, and the trees that seemed lifeless start to come back to life. Flowers bloom all over the place, making everything colorful and lovely. With the end of spring, one full cycle of all the seasons in Bangladesh is complete. The changing seasons make Bangladesh a land full of beauty, diversity, and abundance.
