Composition How I Celebrated My Birthday

I was born on the 15th of October in 1997. That day is special to me. Yesterday, I celebrated my birthday. It was a really exciting and memorable day in my life.

I was busy decorating the living room, and my younger sister helped me. My father had a different idea for celebrating my birthday. Last year, he took me to an orphanage and had me give money to help others. This year, we went to different places.

My friends started arriving in the afternoon, around 4 p.m. I welcomed each of them warmly and made them comfortable in the beautifully decorated living room. They brought gifts for me. My uncle, who lives abroad, sent me a nice laptop.

When all my friends and relatives had come, my mother brought the cake to the living room. The candles were lit, and my friends sang 'Happy Birthday' while I blew out the candles and cut the cake into small pieces. Everyone wished me a bright future. We also had some snacks.

Then, we played some games that were a lot of fun. My friends laughed a lot. After some time, some of my friends started singing songs. They sang at least five songs. When the friends who came from far away places had to leave, it was time for me to visit different places. My father took me to a charitable institution and an orphanage, where I donated money for their welfare fund.

Every year, I eagerly wait for my birthday because it makes me very happy.
