Composition Winter Season/Winter in Bangladesh

In Bangladesh, there are six seasons. Winter is one of them. It happens after late autumn and has two months called Paush and Magh.

During winter, there is fog, and at night, dew drops fall. In the morning, the dew looks like pearls. The sky is clear, and trees lose their leaves. In the morning, kids and old people sit in the sun to get warm. But some people, especially the poor, suffer a lot from the cold. Even animals and insects feel the cold too. Rich people can wear warm clothes, but the poor cannot afford them. They try to keep warm by burning dry leaves and hay.

In winter, the days are short, and the nights are long. But there are some good things about this season. Vegetables and fish are available everywhere, and fruit prices are lower because many fruits grow abundantly in winter. People can also enjoy different kinds of cakes and a special dessert called "payesh" made from date juice.

There are some drawbacks to winter as well. Poor people suffer a lot due to the extreme cold. Older people become weaker in this season. People tend to wake up late, which leaves them with less time to work during the day.

Despite its disadvantages, winter is enjoyable. The weather is dry in most places, which makes it easier for people to travel and communicate in Bangladesh.
