Environmental Pollution Composition
Environmental Pollution
Environmental pollution is a big threat to human life on Earth. Science has made life easier and more comfortable, but human activities and foolishness have made the environment a bad place to live in. Technologies are developing every day, and industrialization is happening at a fast pace. With these changes, the environment is being polluted in unimaginable ways.
People do things without considering the consequences. We use vehicles for communication and set up mills and factories for production. We use chemicals and fuels in these processes, which create harmful by-products like gases. These substances have a bad effect on the air, water, soil, and other natural elements, causing pollution.
Environmental pollution is common in major cities worldwide, especially in developing countries with capital and industrial cities facing the most severe forms. The air in cities like Dhaka is highly polluted, and the rivers contain dangerous chemicals harmful to fish and other living beings, including humans.
The use of insecticides and chemicals on land has led to water pollution, disrupting the balance in the environment and worsening its health. We are breathing poison instead of clean air. Air and water pollution are not the only concerns; noise pollution also affects our nervous system and mental health. Another type of pollution is odour pollution, caused by improper waste disposal and rotting materials, attracting disease-carrying insects and animals.
We need to learn from our mistakes and take necessary steps to keep our environment clean. Creating awareness among the public is crucial, and the government must lead the way in combating environmental pollution in all aspects.
