If I were the Education Minister
Humans always want more and are not happy with what they have. They desire many things that are hard to achieve. As a person, I am no different. I am a student, and studying is my main activity. I face many problems while studying. Sometimes, I imagine being the education minister to solve these issues in the education system.
Education is a fundamental human need and is seen as a measure of development. A country's prosperity depends on its educated population. However, our education system has many flaws. Getting certificates should not be the sole purpose of education. Many students in our country chase certificates without gaining real knowledge. If I were the education minister, I would reform the system and provide better facilities for teachers. They would receive the highest salary to ensure the best education for students. Nowadays, due to low salaries in teaching, many talented students avoid this profession. I would organize training programs for all teachers.
I would also introduce modern electronic teaching methods for students and implement international standard curricula to make our students globally competitive. Emphasizing vocational education would empower many students to be self-employed.
Recognizing the importance of religion in a person's life, I would introduce books on religious values at the basic level. Corruption is a severe issue in our country, and even educated government officials engage in it due to a lack of morality. So, I believe education must instill moral values to combat corruption. Science and technology are crucial in today's world, so I would allocate more funds to support these subjects.
In conclusion, if I were the education minister, I would reduce the cost of educational materials, provide free textbooks from class 1 to XII, and ensure free compulsory education up to class XII. I would strive to make every citizen skilled and capable. This aligns with the expectations of our people, and I would do my best to make their dreams come true. May Allah bless me in realizing their aspirations.
