Paragraph on Rickshaw Problem
One of the big problems on the roads in Bangladesh is the issue with rickshaws. There are thousands of rickshaws that cause traffic jams and block the roads. There are several reasons why rickshaws create these roadblocks. The main issue is the high population in Bangladesh. Even though it's a small country, there are too many people, and most of them live in poverty. There aren't enough job opportunities in the rural areas, so many people come to the towns and cities to find work. However, even in the towns and cities, there is a shortage of jobs. When people can't find work, they turn to pulling rickshaws as a way to earn money. As a result, the number of rickshaws keeps increasing, causing problems on the roads.
Another problem is that the rickshaw pullers are mostly uneducated. They don't have any knowledge about traffic rules and they don't follow them. They park their rickshaws wherever they want without considering others. They lack basic civic sense.
To solve this problem, we need to raise awareness among the rickshaw pullers. We should educate them about traffic rules and encourage them to follow them. Additionally, we can help them by creating more job opportunities. They should be provided with loans on easy terms and conditions, so they can start businesses or invest in productive work that generates income. It's also important to provide them with technical and vocational training so they can find employment in different industries. Wealthy individuals in our country should also step forward and provide financial assistance to the rickshaw pullers. Moreover, the government needs to explore alternative means of transportation to alleviate the problem. Implementing one-way systems and constructing wider roads can also help. Furthermore, there should be designated areas on the roads specifically for rickshaw movement.
