Paragraphs on Sundarbans

The Sundarbans is a really big forest made up of mangrove trees. It's the largest one in the whole world! People think it's super special, so they made it the 52nd World Heritage Site. You can find the Sundarbans in the southwest part of Bangladesh, in a place called greater Khulna. India also has a little piece of the forest. The Sundarbans is part of a really big area where three rivers - Ganges, Brahmaputra, and Megna - meet the Bay of Bengal. There are so many little streams, creeks, rivers, and estuaries that make the place even more beautiful. The whole forest is about 38,000 square kilometers big. 

Some people say the name "Sundarbans" comes from the many Sundart trees that grow there. The Sundarbans is famous because it has a special ecosystem and is home to lots of different animals. You can find the famous Royal Bengal Tiger there, as well as deer, crocodiles, birds, wild boar, lizards, and more. Sometimes, you can even see a big group of Siberian ducks flying over the forest and boats full of wood, fuel, honey, shells, and fish. It's a really pretty place that attracts both local and foreign tourists.

In 1987, the Sundarbans became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lots of people visit the Sundarbans every year. People from different countries are amazed by how beautiful it is.

But the Sundarbans is not just pretty, it's also important for the country. It's the biggest source of forest products we have. We use the wood from the forest to make things in wood-based industries. We also collect other things like thatching materials, honey, beeswax, and fish from the forest. It's a big part of our economy and we can't ignore its importance.
