It was a hot summer day, and a crow was really, really thirsty. It flew around looking for water but couldn't find any. The crow didn't lose hope. Eventually, it noticed a jar not too far away. It flew straight to it, but there was only a little water at the bottom of the jar. The crow couldn't reach the water.

The crow started feeling really frustrated. It didn't know what to do. Then it looked around and saw some little rocks. Suddenly, it had a great idea.

With its beak, the crow picked up the little rocks, one by one. It dropped them into the jar. Before long, the water rose up to where the crow could drink it. The crow drank the water and flew away, feeling so happy.

So, from this story, we learn that no matter how hard things get, we should never give up.
