Letter to Your Friend Describing How You Are Staying and Enjoying in Your Village Home
Dear Rumi,
I hope this letter finds you well. It's nice to know that you're having a great time at the tea garden in Sylhet. As for me, I'm currently in our village, Daulotpur, which your letter was sent to. At first, I wasn't sure about coming here, but now that I'm here, I'm quite happy.
I grew up in Dhaka and never really knew about this village where my father and grandfather lived. It's been a big change for me, and I've actually come to like this place a lot. I've even decided to stay here until our results are published.
The air here is really fresh, and there are plenty of fresh vegetables to eat. My grandmother loves cooking and baking cakes. We have a nice pond near our house, and my cousins take me for a swim every day. I'm trying to learn how to swim. The local high school isn't too far away, and they have a library. I'm getting a lot of books to read, which is great.
Please write back as soon as you can. Best of luck with everything.
Yours sincerely,
Sumi
