Letter to Your Friend Describing the Picnic You Have Enjoyed Recently

Dear Moon,

I got your letter yesterday. You said you can't come with us on the picnic and asked about how my picnic went. Oh, how nice it would've been if you were with us! We really missed you a lot. But let me tell you what happened.

We chose Sonargaon for our picnic spot. It's about twenty miles away from Dhaka. There were about thirty-five of us, including one of our teachers. We went there on a bus around 9 in the morning, bringing all the things we needed for the day. As soon as we got there, we had breakfast around 9:30 am. We didn't have a cook with us, but our Math teacher, Mr. Anwar Hossain, is really good at cooking, so he helped us.

By around 2 pm, our lunch was ready. We were all pretty hungry by then, so we ate with big appetites. After eating, we went to explore the area. Sonargaon has a lot of interesting history. It used to be the capital of Bengal a long time ago. The museum there was really interesting to us. We left around 5 pm after having some tea.

Take care,
Smriti
