Letter to Your Friend Informing Her of Your Success in a Debate Competition

Dear Bithi,

I hope you're doing well. I wanted to share some good news with you. Recently, I took part in a debate competition at our college, and I'm happy to let you know that I won the first prize! The topic of the debate was "Why Learning English is Important for Our Society." I thought I'd give you a brief overview of what I talked about during the competition.

English is a language that is spoken all around the world. A lot of the knowledge about modern life and society is available in English. If we don't learn English, we might miss out on being connected to the rest of the world. Our education would also suffer because most of the important books we need for advanced studies are written in English. It's not something we can change quickly by switching to our native language, Bangla.

Sadly, some people don't realize how valuable English is. This is causing its quality to decrease, and as a result, the overall level of education is going down. It's really important that we understand the significance of English and take steps to make it better.
