Composition | A Journey By Bus

I love going on trips, and traveling by bus makes it even more exciting. Recently, I had the opportunity to take a bus journey from Dhaka to Laksham, Comilla.

On the 5th day, I embarked on the journey. One of my friends lives in a village in Laksham and invited me to visit his home. I shared this plan with my parents, and they agreed. I also informed my friend about my intention to visit.

On the scheduled day, we met at Saidabad bus station at 9 am. We purchased two tickets for a comfortable bus. We also bought some snacks, water, and a newspaper. At 9:30 am, we boarded the bus, and it started moving.

The bus accelerated quickly. Soon, we left the city behind and entered the countryside. As the bus moved forward, we admired the scenery of trees, houses, small shops, and green fields.

We chatted and enjoyed our snacks. I loved observing the natural beauty on both sides of the road. I saw small hills covered in green trees at Lalmai. I also noticed the BARD and small cottages along the road.

Around 11:00 am, we crossed the Meghna River via the Meghna Bridge. This was the most unforgettable part of the journey. My heart filled with joy as our bus made its way across the bridge. I witnessed the beauty of the river, with fishing boats floating on its surface. I was truly captivated by the river's charm.

By 1 pm, we arrived at Laksham bus station. We got off the bus and hired a rickshaw to reach my friend's home.

The journey was both enjoyable and educational. It brought me great pleasure, and I will always cherish the wonderful memories of this trip.
