Composition | A Wedding Ceremony I Celebrated
In our social life, we experience many joyful events that bring us happiness in different ways. One such event is a wedding ceremony, which I attended last week. It was my second cousin's wedding, and it took place at our village home on the 10th of this month. The ceremony was truly beautiful. The entire house was decorated with colorful papers and paper flowers. There were also bright, multicolored electric lights all around the house. The young boys made a lovely gate at the entrance to welcome the bride and groom.
The bridal party arrived at around 2 p.m. The bride and groom were dressed in stunning wedding attire. The groom, in particular, caught everyone's attention. He looked handsome and was smiling. I shared jokes with him, and he responded warmly. Approximately 400 guests from both sides attended the ceremony. I was given the responsibility of taking photographs. I fulfilled my duty with enthusiasm, capturing all the special moments carefully. Then, following the customs of our religion, the marriage formalities were completed in a friendly atmosphere.
Afterward, there was a grand feast arranged for everyone. The tables were filled with delicious dishes, including various traditional rural foods. Some of my cousins diligently served the guests. The wedding feast was filled with laughter and joyful conversations. I got the chance to meet many relatives whom I hadn't seen in a long time.
The farewell scene when the bride left was very emotional. It touched all of us deeply. The bride's parents and relatives were in tears. Then, the newly married couple boarded a green car and set off for the groom's residence. This scene will always remain a memorable event in my mind.
