Composition | Corruption
Corruption means when people in power do dishonest or illegal things in our country. Everyone knows about corruption—it's a word we hear often. Nowadays, corruption is everywhere in our government. The people in charge, the officers, the clerks—they all take part in this corrupt behavior. Our country has been ranked as the most corrupt five times. Sadly, nobody stands up against this growing corruption. There are several reasons behind this widespread corruption, and they're not hard to find. The main reason is the desire for power, money, and wealth. Greed, dishonesty, favoritism, and nepotism also contribute to corruption. Corruption has a negative impact on our society and economy. It hinders our development programs. The corrupt individuals are getting richer while the poor are getting poorer. We must not allow corruption to continue unchecked. Those involved in corruption should face severe consequences. We need to control and prevent corruption at any cost, so our country can be free from this national problem. This will bring hope for development, and those not involved in corruption can finally feel relief and have hope for better days. The corrupt people should be punished accordingly. We can even take away their wealth and money, and they should receive long prison sentences. The media, newspapers, magazines, articles, and the awareness of the educated people can play a crucial role in stopping corruption. As the saying goes, "Actions speak louder than words." So, we need to take strong measures against corruption. Lastly, we should make a firm commitment to never engage in corruption ourselves.
