Composition | Hazrat Muhammad (Sm)/ The Messenger Of Allah
During the time before Hazrat Muhammad (sm.) was born, Arabia was in a state of darkness. It was a time of wickedness and cruelty. There were no proper laws or social customs. The people in Arabia were superstitious, ignorant, and did not believe in the right things. They had lost their sense of what was morally right. They were very corrupt. In such a difficult situation, Allah sent Hazrat Muhammad (sm.) to teach the misguided Arabs about good behavior.
Hazrat Muhammad (sm.) was born in Mecca, Arabia in the year 570 A.D. His father's name was Abdullah. Sadly, Hazrat Muhammad (sm.) lost his father before he was born. When he was only six years old, his mother Amina also passed away. His grandfather, Abdul Muttaalib, then took care of him. After his grandfather's death, his uncle Abu Talib became his guardian.
At that time, the Arabians worshipped idols and engaged in bad habits like drinking alcohol. They often fought with each other. This deeply saddened young Muhammad, and he always hoped to change these things.
Muhammad married a wealthy woman named Khadija, which helped improve his financial situation. Then he started to contemplate on Allah. For fifteen years, he spent time in a cave called Hera, meditating and seeking spiritual guidance. When he turned forty, he began preaching Islam.
The people of Mecca plotted to kill Hazrat Muhammad (sm.), so he had to leave the city and go to Medina with his followers. This journey is known as the Hizrat. In Medina, he established an empire and played a crucial role in building a Muslim society. Hazrat Muhammad (sm.) made his final journey to Medina in 633 A.D. at the age of sixty-three.
Hazrat Muhammad (sm.) is considered the Prophet of Muslims. He is the last and greatest of all Prophets. He was kind, truthful, generous, humble, and had a gentle way of speaking. He loved children and all of humanity.
