Composition | Honesty Is The Best Policy
Being truthful and sincere brings happiness and achievements in a person's life. It is the most valuable quality one can possess. An individual who is honest is admired, respected, and trusted by everyone.
On the other hand, a dishonest person faces serious consequences in society. They lead an unhappy and sorrowful life. When their deceit is exposed or proven, no one believes them anymore. They lose the reputation and recognition they had in the past.
Throughout history, all the great individuals were honest. Our prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Sm) was a true embodiment of honesty. Socrates, Aristotle, Hazrat Omar (R), Hazrat Abu Bakar (R), and many others were known for their honesty in both their words and actions. Their honesty is forever remembered in history.
Whether poor or rich, high or low, anyone can be honest. The best way to demonstrate honesty is by speaking the truth. A person who consistently speaks the truth is also beloved by Allah. The story of Hazrat Abdul Kader Jilani (R) exemplifies the importance of truthfulness and obedience to his mother's advice. On the contrary, the tale of the deceitful cowboy reminds us of the consequences of falsehood.
Real success in life hinges on honesty. Honesty builds individuals, while dishonesty destroys them. In a Hadith, it is mentioned, "A dishonest person will never be granted entry into heaven." Therefore, if we desire success in life, we should strive to be honest. It is essential to always remember that honesty is the best approach to life.
