Story | The Lion And The Lamb
The Lion And The Lamb
Once upon a time, a lion went to a stream to drink some water. While drinking, it noticed a lovely lamb drinking downstream. The lion had a wicked idea to kill the lamb and eat it. So, it started a fight with the lamb. The lion accused the lamb of polluting the water. The poor lamb got scared and started trembling. But it calmly explained to the lion that it couldn't dirty the water because it was drinking downstream. The lion couldn't argue against that. However, it accused the lamb of insulting it the previous year. The lamb explained that it couldn't have done that because it wasn't even born yet. But the lion was determined to kill the lamb. It growled angrily and pounced on the defenseless lamb, claiming that it must have been the lamb's father who polluted the water. And so, the lamb lost its life.
