Composition Pahela Baishakh of Bangladesh

Pahela Baishakh is a big celebration in Bangladesh. It's the first day of the Bangla year. Everyone in the country celebrates with lots of fun.

Emperor Akbar started Pahela Baishakh long ago. Since then, people here celebrate it every year. Nowadays, a special thing on this day is that traders and shopkeepers open new Khata, called Halkhata, and give sweets to their customers. It's an important day for all Bengalis.

Bangladesh has many national festivals, and Pahela Baishakh is one of them. People in Bangladesh celebrate it with great excitement. It's a public holiday, and various cultural organizations plan big events to celebrate. People wear their traditional clothes on this day. Newspapers publish special editions, and radio and TV show special programs. The Institute of Fine Arts at Dhaka University organizes a colorful procession with festoons, banners, placards, posters, and masks to welcome the Bangla New Year. Many government and non-government organizations also arrange cultural functions.

In Dhaka, the festival starts in the morning at Ramna Batamul. Chhayanat organizes the event, and famous artists participate. People enjoy eating pantha and Hilsha fish there.

Throughout the country, various events take place. Baishakhi mela is a special attraction of the day. Educational institutions hold discussion meetings and cultural functions.

Pahela Baishakh is a significant day for Bengalis. It brings a lot of happiness and enthusiasm to people of all classes. It holds great importance in Bangladesh's traditions and culture.
